The automotive industry is undergoing a paradigm shift, away from a world where vehicles are fully controlled by their manufacturers and toward a world where every vehicle is connected to each other as well as road infrastructure. Certain aspects of a vehicle's performance—particularly safety features—will depend on other entities, from similarly enabled vehicles and road infrastructure to network coverage. One of the key technologies enabling this transformation is C-V2X, known as cellular vehicle-to-everything.

  • Bill McKinley has spent over 30 years working on wireless communications with Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, and Keysight Technologies. His current role in strategic planning is focused on developing test solutions for the automotive sector as wireless communications transform the industry.

    Bill has held multiple engineering and management positions throughout his career including R&D, strategic planning, marketing, and manufacturing engineering.

Jason M. Conley, Executive Director, OmniAir Consortium

  • Jason Conley serves as the Executive Director of OmniAir Consortium, the leading industry association promoting interoperability for connected vehicles, tolling, and ITS. Jason has over 15 years of experience in transportation and security technologies. He joined OmniAir directly from MorphoTrust USA, an identity solutions and services provider, where he led the organization's Government Affairs team. Jason has also served in senior roles in the Transportation Security Administration, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, and the shared mobility start-up, Avego (now Carma). Jason earned his law degree at the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, and an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Jason and his wife reside in Alexandria, VA.
