"Optimize Battery Pack Design via Simulation"

Now available on-demand

This webinar will show a workflow for sizing battery packs via simulation. Optimization is performed on vehicle-level metrics to identify an appropriate battery pack design. A battery model is then generated and analyzed for thermal behavior before being integrated back into the vehicle-level model for verification against the requirements.

Speakers:

Mike Sasena, Automotive Product Manager, MathWorks

  • Mike Sasena is a product manager, focusing on the automotive products developed at the MathWorks office in Novi, Michigan. Prior to joining MathWorks, Mike spent 14 years working on model-based system engineering projects for the automotive industry. His experience includes hybrid electric vehicle modeling for fuel economy analysis, Model Predictive Controls development and heterogeneous system simulation. Mike received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2002.

Danielle Chu, Simscape Product Manager, MathWorks

  • Danielle Chu is a product manager at MathWorks supporting the Simscape product family and specializing in power electronics and battery systems.
